Our own Ray Canton won the MACKFEST video contest shooting on the Upper Black. Check out the MACKFESTsite for the video. It is comforting for us to know that when we mess up and he captures that moment and all the gory details and they end up in the year end video, that our humiliation is raw footage in the hands of an artist. So don't just mess up, mess up when Ray's around. He'll make you look your best - guaranteed!

Thanks for the posting, and congrats Colin.

As Rob mentioned, yes please mess up while I'm around and with my camera, and in the worst and most humiliating fashion if you don't mind.  I've already gotten some good carnagio this year and am not above providing some of the entertainment myself.

So, this year, come Newcomer's Day, I don't want to see any of you sissies paddling around Phils like last year.  Give me the goods and head straight in!

I can attest to the lengths that Ray will go to to have proof of carnage. He drove back to the Upper Mississippi and hiked in an hour last weekend all to recover a $5 videotape that he had lost. Somehow, I doubt that he would have gone to such great lengths if it didn't have footage of me taking a bit of a beatdown.  ;)

"Bit of a beatdown"?  That tape is gold baby, gold I tells ya.
