Saturday seems to hold more promise weather-wise than Sunday. Acc to Sharky the water temp is 18 degrees. And the bears haven't yet started foraging for wandering paddlers.
-
Should be a good level on the main with lots of good play. What time were you thinking of going?
-
Sounds like meeting at the takeout (is that Blacks?) at 10:30 is going to work provided we have shuttle. If not, park n play. At any rate, I need to be back in the city for 6:00 or shortly after.

Targeting the Main as well tomorrow and hoping to carpool tomorrow, likely from Champlain.
Be interested in park and play since we haven't seen much of Push Button or Garb this season; hopefully Push Button is on.
Or go down the Main and linger at the play spots.
Kelly, what is happening with our new friend Chris the roofer?

paddler Adam?
As in Adam Chappell; the one with 2 Ls.
Magic Paddle Adam? The terror of the Stittsville backyard swimming pools?
Now...
Coming back around or shortly after 18h00 would be good for me as I would pick up my daughter after her work day.
(Don't even think about it, Adam, she's already too old for you...8-)
And sleeping in tomorrow morning would be nice too.

My dear paddling buddies,
I wish I could go with you tomorrow, but this is the last weekend before the end of my big project which unfortunatly means work overtime for me :'( :'( :'(. I'm also still recovering from my foot injury from 2 weeks ago.
I'm hoping off getting a raincheck for next weekend.
Have fun

Annie, send us a picture of your purple toe! Kidding...

Well, I guess if there are any bears showing up tomorrow, we'll just show them your purple back, right Christian?
BTW, do you have a ride, Christian?
-
Louis, tomorrow was reserved for some biking and a concert at the NAC later, so no paddling for me. I am going to the Beaver river in NY Sunday with Grahame et al., however.
And the purple bruise on my shoulder is gone!

So 8:30 at Champlain -15 min rule. i.e.: we're gone at 8:45. Meet at Balck's Takeout at 10:30. Is that the closest T.O. to the end of the run on the Main?
And can someone remind me where it is?

OK I'M MAKING AN IMPORTANT CHANGE. MEETING AT THE OTTAWA WILL BE AT THE WILDERNESS TOURS TAKEOUT FOR 10:30. I cannot find directions to Black's.

OK Christian,
Enjoy the biking, NAC and a little Beaver on Sunday.
Oh! And on Sunday, stay away from the color purple, we like you better without it.
Matches poorly with your eyes.

Had hoped for a Sunday Ottawa trip, but failing other interest, I'll show up for the Ottawa Saturday at 8:30 at Champlain. Thanks to all for putting it together.
