Hi,
Is there some people interrested to paddle tomorrow? The weather is supposed to be nice.

Lets,
The Ottawa level is back up to 5 (on thursday), so Middle Channel playboating is a possibility.
There's also interest in the Rouge and Hole Bros too
-
I never did the Rouge... and I don't know about Hole Bros.
I'm hoping for something that will get my confidence back since my last trip was not my best but I'm open to destination with maybe a little (very small tho) preference for the Ottawa.

If it's Middle or Park and Play, then I would like to go too, but I don't want to do Main nor stuff that I don't know.

I am bound tomorrow morning (Sat) in taxiing my kids around in the early morning (8h00-9h00) and then at 16h30 to pick them up.
So, park&park could be an option for me, but what is interesting at that level?
We should be able to run Onion Ring if below 7 (I know! all those boils remind me of onions not metal).
Is Baby Face interesting at that level? I doubt.
Are Angel's Kiss and Butterfly interesting?
I recall the day earlier this summer when the level dropped from 7.5 down to maybe 3 and Angel's Kiss was almost non existent when we got there.
Blacks might be on?
Anyway, Park&Play on the upper Ottawa seems dicy to me.
With the levels going up in town as well, I wonder if Sewer wave will be back sufficiently...Britannia seems to be a 3.2 and rising.

Hey!
I'm up for something Saturday too! The main channel is a bit big at 5, but the middle is still fun at that level.
I've done the Rouge, but my recollection of it is so vague as to be completely useless. I would definitively only go there with someone who knows it... What I remember of the Seven Sisters (i.e. Canyon) section at lower levels, if you walk the Sisters themselves (big waterfalls), is that it's a is pool-drop-pool Class II to IV run, and the big stuff can be avoided/portaged easily. For instance, next to the Washing Machine, there's a sneak run called the Dryer. Plus the Washing Machine is a body surfing spot, once we all jumped repeatedly into it, canonball-style, so it's not such a big deal if one swims there...
Anyway, I would love to pay for gas/food/beer if someone gives me a ride, any river!

im good to do somthing tmorrow if its the middle or somewere else but if it out of town i would need to carpool ;D
-
WT take out at 1030 should do. There shouldn't be much raft traffic, but several university clubs are up for the weekend.
As for carpooling. I could take another small boat as of now. I'm sorting out my roof racks and could be able to do more... Check back to see if i'm successful
-
Grahame can i ride with you i will pay my part of the gas because i cant buy the beer >:( i have a small boat and allstar... :-\
-
Adam, you don't need to buy beer. After I saw you paddling at Champlain, I'm sure that you could give us many playboating tips...
Grahame, I will call you tonight to see if you have room for Adam and me.
Or Annie, are you going? Do you have room for me?
Someone else?

I would be interested but need to be back around 5, I can drive if needed but can only take 1 passenger in VW bus but could probably fit 2 kayaks plus my own.

I'm planning on meeting people at the put-in, but I've got lots of room in the car if there are any (far) West-end paddlers that want a ride.
