Title: Road Trip to the S/E - North Carolina/Tennessee paddling

Adrian and I have decided cooler climate spring paddling and a road trip is in order this year (March 21-28). We are thinking about the Asheville NC area but we thought we would check with club members who may have paddled in the area and have suggestions on places to stay (cheap and clean) and rivers to padldle (Class III-IV+).  If you have suggestion, particularly in the Asheville area (but nothing is firm except the date), fire away. If you were thinking of dong some spring paddling, it would be great to find another two paddlers/one car wanting to drive down as well.  I know Ain't Louiefest is the week before but can't make those dates.

Would have loved to have come down, but I do not have a break until April.  If you know anyone looking for a road trip in late april let me know.
