Title: Spring Paddling: Beaver Creek Saturday April 4
Post by: Bill Schlarb on April 02, 2009, 10:32:58 PM
Hi folks,

Based on the gauge levels, Beaver Creek is currently at a medium flow (about 28 cms).
Plans are to meet at the IGA in Marmora, ON at 10:30 am then drive to the takeout.
According to Google maps,  it's a 2.75 hour drive from Ottawa.

The usual caveats about spring paddling apply, proper cold weather paddling gear etc.

If you have any questions, contact me at home between 6:30PM and 9:30PM  Friday evening or by e-mail at wwpaddler@gmail.com .

I'm in... Well, provided I get a ride... Is anyone going by Sandy Hill with room for one? I'll compensate more than adequately!

The weather forecast is now promising rain/snow and 5 deg. for Marmora.
A couple of us are going to take a pass on it however Jim Forbes has said he'll be the
contact person. His number is (613) 829-1008

Scrubbing it. going to call it a nice day to spend somewhere warm with my sweety. Not cold on a great river.   :-(
