Yeah, I just joined the ranks of Jackson owners... Price is a bit high, but I want to have fun this summer.
Originally. it was the comfort that did it. The LL Big Wheel is a great playboat once you're on the wave, but it's a bit squirrely otherwise, and it's hard to get in and out of it; after an hour or so my legs were killing me.
When I tried Dave Jackson's boat at Champlain last Thursday, it was the first surf this year where I was relaxed. So relaxed in fact that I got flushed after a few seconds. But I didn't care...
It was the last new one at Paddle Shack, and of all colours, it had to be red... Maybe I can personalise it a bit?
Looking forward to try it later this week!
