Great thing about paddling is that rainy days are a good thing; it means that the eddy will still be in at Champlain. Is anyone going out on Thursday? I'm up for a pedal and a paddle.....

P.S. I discovered a highly retentive hole at the top of Deschenes rapids, on the Ontario side, beside the Britannia Yacht Club. It's about a 100 meters upstream from BYOB. No eddy and a hell of a wild ride to the bottom. I was thinking it should be called the Phaffer Hole....because it takes forever to get out of it.....and forever to get back to it.

Or ThursDAY in the afternoon, instead?

Hi.
Judging from the last few weeks, Louis and I usually make it to Champlain around 17:00, a bit earlier than others. There will be people there even earlier, as it is the last few good days for the wave. So don't hesitate to go...
