:o Many details missing - who gave the guide the all clear - did the kayaker know that there was a trip coming down and decided to ignore them - Seems to me someone needs to review river etiquette (priority to the upstream boat) - he could have easily injured/killed someone - VERY lucky that his boat passed between passengers - hopefully someone had a good talk with him...and/or the Esprit team!?

The missing information is on the related thread on Boatwerks.net. Basically, the wave is so deep that you can't see who's in there from above, and vice-versa. 'No hard feelings' is the outcome, apparently.
