Title: Paddling Wednesday?

Any takers for a paddling trip down the Ottawa on Wednesday? I would prefer an early trip. Last week's 9am trip missed all the crowds... It was brilliant. The river is dropping.

I won't be coming straight back to town after so Wendy and I can go up together and then you guys can come back together. I'll check email later tonight to see if anyone else is coming too.

Ok, so let's meet at Westgate Mall at 8am Wed morning if that works for everyone. 

(Not sure what the 9am time means in the first post)

Dave,

Let's meet at the River Run Gates for 9am. Wendy and I live a block from each other so we can drive up together. We don't need to stop at west gate mall. Wendy, I will pick you up at 7:30 am.

Have fun.  Would love to but an appointment with my stylist prevents. Love the river but also love my hairdresser. What can I say? Vanity is a possessive demon.

Beating the crowds yep ... by 72 hours cuz the crowds don't show up until the week-end.
The last mid-week paddle I participated in, at noon there were 6 cars at the OWL parking lot and not a raft in sight.

Turns out I'm going to stay up Wed night so I'll be taking my car, too.  Sorry for the lack of carpooling!  Must try better next time.

So I will meet you both at RiverRun gates at 9AM! 

Can't wait to get on the water!
