It's on again! Jeremy will paddle too.
We're meeting at the put in at 11am, so I can get my beauty sleep...
If anyone want's to join us, you know who you are, and want to carpool, meet me at the Eagleston Park and ride, in Ottawa, at 9am tomorrow morning. or at the Put-in above McKoys at 11am.

Hey... The level is currently at 4.5, the "River is boom" according to the Ottawa Kayak School... Oh well, you'll be able to run Iron Ring with your eyes closed, and descend the Staircase at Garvin (but not with your eyes closed, too many rocks; it's a cool little run). Heck, you might even be able to surf Upper No-Name repeatedly! Last year we took a look at Little Trickle at the same level, and it was No Trickle, so don't bother with it...
I hope you have more water than what's on the pictures of the WT river tour:

Have fun, we likely will run the Rouge instead. It's at 180 right now, and that's quite the ride at that level...

HI Paul.
Any chance we could get you out on the Rouge?

Hi Sara,
The Rouge is a bit above my pay grade (Grade A Chicken) at these levels (180) and Temperatues (7 Celsius) . I'd rather paddle a river I know and am very confortable paddling. The river level according to WT today is about 9, (probably higher tomorrow...) so a really good level for a very nice river run with some play thrown in! If you and Christian have a late start..., you can join Jer and I and do the Middle instead. Meet at the Eagleston Park and Ride at 9am
Not trying to change your mind or nothing,...cough...cough... but I hope to paddle with such a cute couple as you two tomorrow! ;)

Next time, Paul. We're all cuter without our dry suits anyway... I'll bring images of the run and of eventual carnage--hopefully none though! --C.
