In a freak twist of weather climate change, a very, very sudden micro burst of humidity, torrential rains, followed by a freak cold snap have all been observed hovering over the Maniwaki section of the Gatineau river, especially the put-in and the Lucifer rapid section. Scientists and climatologists are baffled, but paddlers are ecstatic! ;)
