Bring Your Own Wave / Britannia Yachtclub Offshore Boating
Paul , did you guys run the hogbacks , I was there yesterday morning and it looked pretty extreme . not to mention 200km freezing winds .

Mark,
We did not run Hogsback! Water was way hign and even the Pros (Joel Kowalski and his friends) had a hard time! Not to mention they had creekboats and we had playboats! Joels friend swam as well and the holes looked gnarly! We headed over to sewer wave for a few surfs, then paddleshack and whispers for a hot chocolate! I am real sore from the trying to bowstall over and over again at the pool session last night but I might make it to BYOB for a few surfs!
Cheers!

yes , definetly a good choice not to run , there are big undercuts on the east side if you swim , I am actually heading out now till noon , change of plans sorry for last minitue notice. . byob.
try filling a bit of water in your bow at first to practice the bow stall, as you get better use less water .

Hi Mark,
Sorry for the late reply. Like John said, the water was way too high. Scary seeing some pros almost get sucked back under the falls and another one swim. It was way above my payscale that day...
Paul:-)
