Good! At some point there were 12 people in the water, a mix of kayaks, canoes and surfboards! And photographers. We even had mr. Dionne, who still looks like a hobo...

That hobo could not help but notice that you sold your soul to the devil and bought a car...LOL
When I first looked over the fence, I couldn't really see where the wave was...might be my new integrated bifocals glasses...or just that the waves here look like microscopic ripples...need more magnification in my glasses maybe.
The second wave was also very shallow and after scraping the bottom once I let that one alone - good enough for our Jackson sponsored Adam who was not worried at all with the scraping of his new Rock Star...
I was nice to chat in the warm sun with buddies and even you Dr. Christian. 8-)
Met Isabelle and Marcos (from Chile). After talking about Chile, we realized we first saw each other at Chambly, on Friday, 2 days before, as he was wearing the same shorts, but the temperature was 1degC and snowing...And didn't need my microscope then to spot the waves - a solid 6+ feet...

Yes, the 2nd wave has a very shallow through. A couple weeks ago I caught an edge and my paddle hit the bottom during the following 'rotation'... The first wave was nice, big enough for spins if carefully initiated, and capable of holding up to 4 paddlers! I noticed that the water flowing is not so much meltwater, as it is very clear. For instance, when surfing the first wave, in the right light conditions, you have a good view in front of you of the rock shelf causing the wave.
I suppose that we will need to have a couple trips to Lachine this season!
