Title: Best place to learn how to kayak?

A beautiful girl from my organization wants to get into paddling (boys - now that I have you attention!!)
Where's the best place to take a weekend course?

Billy Harris might be a cheaper option and /or if she speaks a bit of french..this is the cheapest by far! (Not only cause I work there lol) Thats where I got to learn last summer!

Hi Sandra

There's also the in town stuff such as Trailhead used to provide. And "MKC in the City" - if they still have it - used to be at the pumphouse. Obviously not as good as those up the line, but more easily accessed.

is it the best?  ... at the beginner stage they all teach the same stuff.
is it the cheapest ... most likely

Or tell her about Palmersfest on the May long weekend ... plenty of clinics
