I heard this from the organisers. This river is far, but worth running two days in a row. See the description at <http://www.kipawariver.ca/eng/riverdesc.html>. It is long, mostly Class III with a few Class IV+ rapids. Typically, people run it in playboats but larger boats are fine of course too. For the record, I did it in my 2nd season and ran (and screwed up) every rapid, but still had a good time!

Looks to me like IV+ stuff I wouldnt run in a playboat! haha

Well id be interested for sure If I can run it all in a playboat! Do you plan on going?

The first video contains a part where they run La Grande Chute at REALLY LOW WATER. During the festival, the level is higher and the Chute is a mandatory portage: you HAVE to take out above the falls. The second video is at a really high level, you see why La Grande Chute is not run... At festival levels, everything except La Grande Chute and the first part of Hollywood is runable in a playboat. --C.
