Title: Renting a Dynamic Duo
Post by: JohnCyr on June 14, 2011, 02:22:22 PM
Good Day,

Richard is trying to find a place where he could rent a Dynamic Duo or similar so he could bring his little brother paddling on Saturday.

PaddleShack sold their rental Duo last year.
OKS Dont rent theirs.
IIRC Billy Harris might have recovered his but not sure.

Do you guy know of another place we could rent one?
I am posting for Richard because he is too busy working like a madman. haha.

Thanks

John

Just thought of this. Parham has a prijon topoduo (the original tandem WW kayak).
I don't have his contact info. It might be in the member section if he put it there or Bill or Larry
might have it.

Good luck!

Paul

Thanks for the post on my behalf John... And thanks for the reply Paul.

I spoke with Parham, and he will be deciding whether or not he is comfortable renting the boat to me after he talks with some of the more "legacy members."   Obviously having never paddled with me, I completely understand his position.  Paul, Christian, Bill - put in the good word for me  ;D

If he agrees to rent the boat to me then I will see you all on the river this Saturday, otherwise - have a great run lads!

Richard

Richard definately is a strong boater... Hes got more brains than to run Garvins or Iron Ring as an intro to whitewater with his 13 year old brother for that matter..

Middle Channel is big water class 3 with little to no consequences hence why we invite the newcommers and rookie boaters to join on this trip IMO...

There will be plenty of us to open the easier lines, clean up the swims and talk about river safety. I dont see what the problem is, or would be.

Anyways, Hope to See you, Luke and your Father on the river Saturday Richard and Looking forward to paddle with the rest of you.

Cheers,

John
