Title: Paul getting smoked at Phils Hole

How Paul got to be named Windowshade...


This "Paul" is not me but this was the same feeling I got when I got smoked in Phills, only mine felt a whole lot longer than this one. (I counted 22 Windowshades, yes I actually counted them...., since I had nothing better to do at the time... like taking a breath...). Objective looker-ons from the shore said about half a minute under, to me it felt like an hour...

PS I DID NOT SWIM!!!!(just like this Paul did not swim...)

Like I commented on your facebook.. This isnt a bad beating at all... He hit the far right of right side phils at 0:26 and at 0:32 when he attempts to roll for the first time hes already a good 15 feet below the hole.. He didnt seem to have hit any rockes either...

I posted a video of CJ's trashing on your wall... Thats more like a typical Right Side Phils beating probably like the one you had!

Paul, I hope the thumb will be better in time for Phils Hole Rodeo 2011!
CJ, Richard and I are building a craft and will also drop in in our kayaks as well! :p

Wow, yes that one seems a lot more
like mine felt. Actually it looks worse than mine.....
I will definitely attend Phils Rodeo as a  :o spectator

No kidding. I have a lot of experience watching underwater helmet cam footage. What happened: He flliped once, got flushed immediately, waited a while to roll (you can see that the bubbles are very quiet--he's way below the hole), and finally rolled up above Corner Wave.

Probably the whole time...I didnt see it pass by.. or perhaps it went in the eddy but I doubt it.. Hell.. We waited over 2 minutes for the raft to flush out of the WhiteDog Wave on the Rouge this spring... Sattlers is stickier for sure! Smaller..Wayy smaller.. but stickier! :)
