So Dan and Caro are planning to run the Rouge on Saturday in last weekend's Ottawa thread.
Shaunna and Graham are planning to run the Rouge on Sunday in the Sunday thread.
I am proposing we ALL run the Rouge on Saturday, and we talk about it all in THIS thread! :D
I am not fussy about which section to run, as I haven't run either section, but my preference would be whichever sections is more "epic'' at current flows.
I also know a few guides from Nouveau Monde to whom I will extend an invitation.
I will let someone who knows the river propose a time. It needs to be early enough that people can still attend the AGM, but late enough that I can make "sorry I'm going paddling" pancakes for my sweetheart.

Jacques are in as well. The level is 83 right now, going down. It should be around 70 Saturday. Looks like Todd is joining us too!

Yeah, carpooling could work. Who wants to drive? I can take the truck or a car if needed.
I strongly suggest the seven sisters section at this level (but not the falls).

Myself and one other paddler from the PRR are interested in joining you guys if you allow us to tag along. Both of us have been looking for an opportunity to run this river all season and would love to join you. Saturday sounds good to us we just need some sort of direction as to where to meet and when if we are indeed welcome to come. let us know! Cheers

I just tracked the river north on google maps, and there must be something lost in translation, because there are some racist eddies on the river.
Anyway, I'll be at those coordinates at 11:00, unless someone wants to carpool from the Orleans park and ride.

No, unfortunately... No loss in translation. It is called 'Des n?gres'... We won't go near there. However we will be going through 'le rapide des tous-nus', but in November the cold temperature should make things acceptable for us. Not like earlier this summer, when some of us were treated to sights that were not sought, so to speak...

I'm in Chinatown, and am good for meeting at Caro's I think; I believe that she is just a little on the other side of the Eddy St Bridge. Anywheres in that vicinity would work for me.
Ryan, I'm not that good for heading through Orleans. Perhaps Christian and Jacques will be going that way??

We'll be driving through Orleans, but I'm not good with how long it takes to get there. Likely we'll leave my house @ 9:30, I'll have my phone (613 355 2470).

So I looked at the takeout, where exactly is the takeout in relation to the 148? Is there a specific exit and/or road to take. A specific place to park?
