Last Sunday John N and I went to the Nepean Sailing Club for a little leisure paddle... In heavy wind and up to 3-foot whitecaps. We made essentially no progress against the wind, but it was like paddling an endless class II rapid, dodging kite surfers... It's an alternative to the Champlain waves!
Anyway, Alfred found a nice video that convey well the serenity and quietness of a nice paddling session in sea kayaks. Plus the video has some good soul calming music:

Those little Alchemy's appear to be doing a good job in there... I can't wait to put mine to the test!

Looks rather.....fun. :-\ HAHAH! Asides from hitting rocks and all!

Nice video indeed.
Lovely surfing on the reflected waves off the huge boulder.
Music is so calming...
Interesting assortment of kayaks and paddles.... regular plastic sea kayaks, big WW multi-day river runners, even a skin-on-frame Greenland style, with a few homemade Greenland style paddles.
Somehow, I would not bring my skin-on-frame there... nor my carbon-kevlar kayak either.
BTW, I did run Horseshoe with my wife's plastic P&H this summer... so I guess I am no better.
Something is out of place on that photo...
