This guy (Zac) paddled from Beachburg to Nova Scotia in a 16-foot sea kayak. He started in the spring: this means that he ran the main/middle channel at flood levels in a 16-foot sea kayak. It's all on film on his website, it's worth checking. He deserves a lot of respect. Not just for his musical abilities... --C.
