Title: Lower Mad Levels? and a possible Sunday Run
Post by: chuckwj on July 04, 2012, 11:45:05 AM
Does anyone know if the lower Mad is still run-able, or if has now all dried up?
I am way out of practice and need a nice simple run to go down with my son in a Tandem canoe.

And assuming the water is ok, let me know if you want to join us on Sunday.

The level is pretty close to minimum runnable. It would be pretty boney in spots.

You can get a link to the guage here: http://www.whitewaterontario.ca/rivers/index.php/Madawaska_River_Lower

It is getting down pretty low, near the minimum level.
I am looking for something to take Ryan (age 13) on.
I was thinking of the Middle Channel of the Ottawa.
