Title: Things left behind at Beast Feast
Post by: DaveH on August 12, 2012, 09:07:55 PM
I played sweep at Bonnet Rouge earlier and these are some of the items that had been left behind.

- A maroon coloured lawn chair (Roots)

- Two Therm-a-Rest type chairs. They are black and I think that they have MEC labels on them.

- Those two blue mitts that someone was lucky enough to  win during the raffle (oven mitts? paddling gloves? or something much wilder according to Tibor)

- A glass bowl and two white serving utensils that had had a salad of some sort in it (yah nice way to get me to do your dishes!)

- A camping style wine glass

- Two black handled knifes

- A theracane ( http://theracane.ca/index.html ). This was left behind by a canoeist, but I don't which one. No need to be in a rush to pick it up!

- My fear of swimming out of my boat.

Should you want to claim any of these then let me know.

I'll be happily replacing that really soon Martin. Next time I go with 2 of them, but that is nothing compared to these folks:

Thera-Cane is mine. I know I'm not a canoeist but it works!  :)
Dave, can you bring it to work tomorrow and I'll pick it up?

Thanks,

Jacques

Yup, I'll bring these and everything else that I salvaged to Whispers on Thursday Evg., and perhaps to Remics parking lot before hand if folks are interested in paddling Remics Wave.

Ah, my chance at last!!!! Make sure to post the meeting point, I have no idea how to hit this wave.  Chris seems to think it's best to park at Sewer wave.

The wine glass is mine.

Thanks Dave for picking up after us. I could try to stop by whispers on Thursday is you are going. If so, at what time do you think you will be there?
