Is anyone thinking about paddling locally either Saturday or Monday?
-
Me and Richard are going Saturday on the Ottawa!
-
Martin & I want to do the Ottawa Main on Saturday & Peter L. is also going to meet us there.
So we will be at the OWL put-in for 10:15 am & at the WT take-out for 10:30 am. If you want to join us that would be great. If the Main is too crowded we may do the middle & spend some time playing at S-bend & at Butterfly, we can decide between us when we get to Babyface.
Unfortunately we cannot do King of Clubs on Sunday because of prior family engagements
-
That sounds good. Heather will likely join us.
-
We will meet you at the Wt takeout at 10:30am. I think that makes the most sense?
-
Sounds good, see you there, if anyone else wants to join in let us know so that you don't get left behind.
-
I'm a strong maybe. If my son's cold gets a little better, and his Mom gets a good night's sleep, I will join you guys.
If I'm not there, don't wait for me. 8)

Dude! I was 20 minutes late, and thought I could catch you guys at the bottom of McCoy's, but you weren't there! Then you weren't at PushButton 2 hours later! Hope you had a good run.
I'm probably paddling Monday as well if anyone is interested.
-
Sorry to miss you. We left McCoy's after we ran it because of the crowds and went straight to pushbutton. Hope you were able to run the river.
-
I figured that was the case, but I also figured the line-up at PB would be about the same. The rafts left after about half an hour, as did a few clubs, so there was a brief 20 minutes with only a handful of people.
Didn't run the river due to fatigue from playboating for about 6 hours. :D First world problems...

Actually we found PB crowded so ferried across to the wave on the other side, which is of course not visible from the PB wave & spent at least 1 1/2 hours there, Martin loves that wave, that is probably why you didn't see us.
