I'm free at 14:30 Wednesday. Park'n'play at the Lorne is a great option: Pushbutton is really nice: only one paddle stroke to get on! Baby Pushbutton is there as well. And Garburetor for the adventurous...  Plus all three waves have the possiblilty of bringing a friend for filming the action from a good vantage point! Bring a dry top, however, max. T will be around 14 C.

Hi, I don't think I've introduced myself. My name's Sonya, I'm new in town from the Maryland kayak community. I'd be up for some park and play on wednesday at the Lorne if you are all going. I could leave earliest around 3pm, I live in Ottawa City.

Cheers,

Sonya

I will be carpooling with Sonya as she lives close, and the reason for leaving at 3 is because I get home from school at 3. Cant wait for Garb and pushbutton!!!!
Just to confirm we are meeting at pushbutton right.

Cindy, Kevin....do you want to carpool. It sounds like there could be two groups.

Ya... That could work. I will be driving a coupe with racks ... Room for three kayaks max.
What would work best for everyone?
Btw I live in the market.... What would make a good rendezvous point?

Yes, I want to carpool.  I live in Hull, I suggest we met at Bate Island at 14h30.
Chris? Are you coming with us or with Sonya?

I live at Vanier Parkway and Beechwood. We could meet at Bates Island at 2:30pm if that works for everyone. I think I'm close to Kevin though if we could work something out that way.

I may need to have office hours tomorrow--will decide then, so don't wait for me, I'll make my way there if I can go.

Liz, Kevin, the market in not far from my place, it is actually closer than the Bate island.  All we need is a parking where me and Liz can leave our cars.  If you know such a place near Kevin's place, I don't mind joining you there.

The market I don't know. Around my place the parking is two hours on one side of the road and three hours on the other. I don't imagine they check after 5pm. If Bate's Island is the best place that's fine.

The market can have an issue for parking so we can meet at bates or whatever works out best for everyone. Btw... Who's car did you wanna take?

My tire seems okay but I didn't get a chance to get it checked yet so if we took mine we'd have to keep an eye on it. It probably would be better to take someone else's if we can get three boats together. I'd be happy to chip in for gas of course.

If you need parking close to Liz's place, there would be space for one additional car in my driveway, just let me know and I'll move my car further inside.

That could work. I live at 36 barrette st. She lives down the street on MacKay. I can leave my car at home if that works and someone can park in her driveway. If that is more convenient, let me know

Ok, we will do this. Let's be at Liz's place (36 Barrette)  at 14h30.  There we can load Kevin's car and I will use Dani's parking while we are playing out there. I can't use my car for 3 persons, my rack is too weak, I need to fix it.
See ya.  Wou-hou

@Mart, we park n play so time doesn't matter.

That sounds good. Thanks for organizing Cindy.

Ok, I've just parked my car further down in the driveway, so everything smaller than a Chevy suburban should fit behind it...
347 MacKay. And I won't need my car until Thursday, so no worries to block me.
Have fun!

Sorry about us not showing up at garb, we went to McCoys because we were really late and we came by Quebec side because we were picking someone up.

Hey Mart, I was wondering if you even paddle tonight. Garb was very hard to catch apparently, or so they say.  I took their words for cash, they were really good paddlers and they all came back to Push button were we stayed all evening. It was awesome. Hope you had a great time on Baby face.
