Title: Ottawa Main on Sunday Sept 23

Martin & I are going to be doing the Main channel of the Ottawa this Sunday.
I have to drop off my wife at 9:45 in the west end, so expect to be at the OWL take-out for around 11:15 to 11:30.
If anyone is interested let us know & we can arrange the shuttle beforehand.

sSorry folk, but I made a mistake in the location, I meant the OWL put-in or WT takeout.

My passport has expired, so I'll be a member of the Kowalski Krew tomorrow.

Is anyone else coming, or is it just the three of us?

If it's just the three amigos, we should carpool!

I will not know about carpool until tonight as Sonja, my neighbour (creeker from Maryland), is having a housewarming party tonight, & may or may not come with us tomorrow.
If Liz is coming then probably best to have 2 cars. If not, then I can always squeeze one more person into the car.
Also other people will be meeting us on the river, but they are most likely on the river at 1 pm, so will maybe meet up at babyface or garb.

Someone can carpool with me. There may be others coming but I can fit up to three with two boats inside and one on the roof.

I'm rolling up with two friends but I'm going to be half an hour late  (realistically arriving at noon).  If you guys manage to set shuttle, YAY!  If not, text me where you've hidden your keys, and we'll set shuttle when we get there, and meet you down at Babyface.

OK we will see what happens, so I may drop off my car at the WT take out & hitchike back to the put-in. Worst case scenario is that you guys pick me up if I don't get a ride.

So my day just freed up tomorrow; I'd like to come tomorrow too, if possible, but would need a ride... and some advice first:

Just how cold is it paddling out there these days?  (I have no dry top, but wear a non-waterproof thermal top when paddling.) 

Ryszard or Liz: could you let me know if I can get a lift with you (I'll try calling after dinner if there's no reply!)

Hey Peter we are not sure if we can give you a lift yet, and for the weather it is fine I wont be wearing a drytop either (even though I have one) hopefully we can see you tomorrow.

Thanks, Martin.  I've called Liz, and left a voicemail, hoping for a lift.  If anyone can provide a lift (with pickup near the Parkdale exit of the 417), I'd be very appreciative.  Give me a call, or text me, at 613-239-0492.
