Title: Ottawa river October 27
Post by: Martink on October 24, 2012, 07:39:06 PM: Richard and I are going to do the Ottawa on Saturday most likely the middle channel as the level was 7 on Monday. I know that Ryan may be interested in joining us and my neighbor Sonya too!
Meeting at 11:30 at WT Takeout.

Post by: Martink on October 25, 2012, 09:53:00 PM: Small change, instead of thinking about running the main I am going to stick with it run the middle as I am bringing along a girl from carelton she cant roll but she has a dry suit and will be using my creekboat. She has some river experience ( has run the main 3-4 times). If everyone is ok with this great!

Does anyone know what the latest river level is at ?

Also we are meeting at the WT takeout for 11:30, but I will deposit Martin & his lady friends at the put-in for around 11:15, so if anyone is late, go to the put-in straight away as we should be there by 11:45.

The unofficial cutoff (ie the number I've always heard) for IronRing is 8, so anything over that, Little Trickle it is. I've paddled the middle at pretty high flow, and I've never seen Little trickle not go when the level is above 8
Take a quick look at it, but you should be fine
