You always work Jeremy!
-
I'm in. If the level comes down a shade from last weekend, the middle will be magnificent.
11:00?
-
Sounds good to me but is it ok Vero, because you will most likely be driving me! :)
-
11 could be good. Or 12?
Yes Martin, il drive you.
-
Thnx :D

Pas moi, travail

Your French heritage is finally showing!
Paul ;)
-
I'm working on it, Paul.
Vero, I know, and it sucks! But no one will pay me to sit at home, and go kayaking...until then, its work

Yep. I'm trying to find a way to retire and travel the world on my sail boat and paddle everywhere. Anyone wants to sponsor?
-
Pretty sure I will make it
-
With minibus on the high end my guess is the ottawa is at 18-19 and going up. Quite high and flooded for a middle run... Rouge at a 100 is challenging!
-
The group that goes on Saturday can tell us what level to expect for Sunday. 8)
The level came down a few inches today, and all the big boys were freaking out about how minibus was PERFECT. There is also speculation that the level will be down to around 14 on Sunday, based on the duration that minibus has been in.
I suspect the middle channel will be an enjoyable run.
-
I say you decide on Saturday evening.
The Rouge could also be the plan, but if everyone says the the middle will be fun, lets do it!
-
The middle at a high flow is fun! Always! Especially if the waves at the bottom of Garvins are in, but I can't remember what level that happens at.
Just my 2 cents, but I've never not had fun on the middle over 10

14-16 is PRIME for the middle! Angel's Kiss, Butterfly, Garvin's, Upper, and Big Smoothie are ALL amazing at that level!
By 17 you've lost eddy service at Angel's Kiss; and Garvin and Smoothie have flushed. LNN is getting less exciting though much easier.
By 21 I seem to recall Buttefly flushing, and LNN is almost completely flushed as well.
If the level holds 17, we should go watch the pros surf Mini bus for a bit, and then take a relaxed run down the middle.
If the level drops, we should run the middle with the intention of kicking ass and chewing bubble gum.
...and unlike Jeremy, I don't bring bubble gum when I paddle.
-
Does anybody want to carpool? We could meet somewhere in Aylmer?
-
I will let everyone know the level on Saturday and then we can decide.
-
Best surfing below Garvin's is between 16 - 18 ft. on the gauge
-
So we may be in luck.
-
Looks like I am in for Sunday ;D
-
So looks like Martin & I are in for Sunday, we have decided not to go on Saturda because of cold bad weather, but Sunday looks good. So if anyone wants to carpool we have an extra space in the car.
-
If Daniel doesn't come then I would carpool with you guys. I will let you know tomorrow.
-
OK, ditto for me. I'm bailing on Saturday and joining you on this trip.
Hmmmm if want Marc, you can hop in with me? We can meet at the Eagleson park and ride if that works with you.
-
OK, so it looks like Ryan, Martin and I are heading up a little earlier. We'll meet you there on the river. We're planning on going to play on mini bus. Sorry Marc. Maybe you can carpool with Richard? Or someone else.
-
Ill be in Ottawa so I could carpool.
-
Richard / Vero,
Do you want to carpool together? We could meet somewhere at 9:30? I live near the Champlain bridge
-
If Daniel doesn't come then I would carpool with you guys. I will let you know tomorrow.
Allo Marc, je pourrai pas y ?tre.
D
-
Of course, we could carpool.
-
I am in for carpooling too...I wouldn't mind checking out bus eater, though more from the sidelines.
We can figure out tonight. Since Jeremy isn't going, I'll leave my bubble gum at home.
-
I can't make it tonight, just let me know when and where to meet and I will be there. Can also call me at 613 297 3527.
Thanks,
Marc

So, Martin, Luc & Ryan are driving up earlier together for an early morning surf (swim more likely) on bus-eater & meeting us for the middle channel trip. I will be driving Martin back home. Marc is meeting up with Vero. So I have an empty car thqts going, if anyone else needs a ride let me know.
I too am looking for PADL-DING friends. Hey new word for the dictionary Vero !!!!!!!!!
-
Richard,
What time are driving there? Maybe we can follow you. I am still waiting to hear back from Vero for the carpooling.
Richard is there a number I can call you at
-
I spend All the day in test (exam) for boss job (cadre en francais). I need to go out so I come with you on the river tomorrow and find out at tha AGM what time we are leaving tomorrow morning
Daniel
-
Ok, for everyone's knowledge, we are meeting at the PUT IN for 11:30. This has been agreed upon with multiple people at the AGM. We will then dump our gear and do the shuttling.
Of note, Ryan, Martin, Sandra and I will leave early to check out the bus. We'll meet everyone at the put in at the agreed time to run the middle.
-
Sorry guys, I'm out!

For anyone who might be reading this, level was 14.5. McCoy's was pretty much a wash out. Phil is pretty much non existent.
Little trickle was great but more powerful than what I'm used to seeing. Staircase was beyond runnable for the group.
Upper no name great as usual, and lower no name is pretty dramatic but a lot of fun.
-
Sorry for having to bail on you guys. Minibus will be back one day, and so will we.
