Good job, Billy's idea of a creek boat for you was a good one! Your video makes me shiver though--how cold was the water for the face? Not as bad as Champlain in March?

The water was cold  :P, I only rolled once and it felt colder then March, but most likely because I was not used to it.

Make sure you guys check the level before running, because it was rising the day before we ran it and the holes after the waterfall were bigger then expected.

When Martin Ran it it was 3.07 on that second link Chris posted.

Anywhere above 3.15 im out! hahah Ill keep yall posted!

Roger. I will definitely NOT run this unless it is within my means. From the sound of it, it is NOT within my means for now. Level sits at 3.33 at the moment. We'll watch it as well as the temperatures.

The level rise and here in the south of ontario we are on the grass no snow yet. That is all of our spring flow going down the toillet.

OOps... My guess of the trend was wrong. The level of the Rideau is rising, as temperatures are still around zero...

By the way, this gauge (02LA004) is the correct one for Hog's Back, as it is at Carleton University:

http://www.wateroffice.ec.gc.ca/graph/graph_e.html?stn=02LA004

Looks like it's not going up anymore, but still quite high...
