Level is still pretty low, ~22 (adjusted, see http://www.k1c2.ca/rivers/rivers.php). There's a lot of flat at first--indeed, is it free of ice?

John, what about the Salmon put-in: do you have a long flat with the new put-in? This river would be as much fun as the Petite Nation, and is good only a couple weeks a year...

So we are doing a salmon run, meeting in tamworth at 11 to set up a shuttle.

The put in still requires the long paddle unfortunately.

Also beaver might be up and runnable for saturday, so we might do that as well.

Sorry to take over the thread.

Okay, I'm confused.... Salmon river Friday or Saturday? Since Petite Nation is frozen a new thread might be started for the Salmon? I would be available Saturday.

The Salmon is a go.

We are meeting at 11am in Tamworth. Its a little 4 corner town and we usually meet up at the corner. You should see all the boats if as you pull in.

Gonna be a big group of people.

Marc, I've got nothing better to do tomorrow, sounds like an adventure. Want to carpool together?

I live around the exit of Fallowfield and the 416. I drive up on to that area all the time from my place because the family cottage is literally on the lake where the Salmon river starts (small lake called Crotch lake, insert joke here). So going by my place is almost no detour at all. We can either use my car or yours. I think you have a truck, so if you want to use my car, it could be cheaper on gas potentially. I'm easy though. Appel moi!

Luc,

Daniel and I will meet you at your place tomorrow morning.  I spoke with Daniel and we can take his truck.   I will call you later to get your address.
