Has anyone ever paddled de Blanche in Gatineau? I've heard of people paddling it in the past...that it was a good spring run. I would like to have some details if anyone has any. Put-in/out, as well as the levels of difficulty if possible. Maybe someone has a map? ???

Gatineau or thurso!? Gatineau has swift water with 3-4 good class 4-5 drops but theyre spread apart so mainly park and huck . Ill try and post pics when i access a computer! As for thurso, its a class 4 run with a 5+ 25 footer that CJ first Ded last year. Deadly consequences. Ask richard and adam. Sketchy undercut and cave. Everyone walks it. Todd also ran the river. Ill post a map and pics as well on tuesday! Ill go scout for ice saturday! Perhaps it already runs.

Gatineau or thurso!?
I'm not sure which Blanche, I know there is one that goes through Perkins (Val-des-Monts) and crosses the 50 in Gatineau and I know there is another one in the Thurso area. But if you have any info on either one it would be appreciated, thanks.

For the one that goes through Thurso:

I'd likely be game on checking that one out in a couple of weeks/months.
