Title: Madawaska
Post by: Adam on April 11, 2013, 04:54:33 PM
A friend of mine wanted to do the Madawaska sunday starting at Aumond's'Bay (Ithink that's'how it is called), but he is thinking the bay might still be frozen.

I haven't been out yet, does anyone have info on the conditions, if not at this exact location any info would be appreciated. He does not want to drive 2 hours to an inaccessible put-in.

You're probably right. I cannot say for sure because we ended up not going.

Luckily we received an invitation at the end of the day on Friday and did the upper part of the Simon, near Saint-Sauveur, Saturday instead. Great little river.

Around 7.5 I was told. It was low but we managed to have lots of fun.
