Turns out we are aiming to go run the drops on the Du Lievre in Masson. If the level is too high when we get there, alternate plan is the Petite Nation.

we will be over 10 mixte of canoe and Kayak
JN: do you know if the tree still in the canyon??

My best is it is still there.. a bit hard to see from the top of the rapid if you are running from the highway put in. Best bet is to take out in the big eddy on the right where the white cottage is and talk a quick scout from the cliff... If you feel confident, You can always run the river right line close to the wall and catch the eddy there and see... If youre putting in from Rock Aquaventure and walking back up, it will be easy to see if the tree is still there.
Water should be low... if you have a saw that fits in your kayak and a few ropes, shouldnt be a problem removing it.
Good luck!
