Hey all
Was wondering if anything is still up in Ottawa.
Don't care how small/crappy it is, so long as its surfable, I'm looking at demoing a boat, and would rather not do it in just flat water
Any info would be great!
Thanks!!

Dessert Wave... 300 yards downstream of champlain in the middle... walk back on rock shelf river left...
Lower JJs wave.. deschenes rapids... river left of structures... the eddy is created by the first pillar...
Pumphouse is running... i think it would be the vest place to demo a boat right now.

Thanks again, JN
That being said, if anyone can't get up to THE Ottawa and wants to get their face wet for an hour or so, I'm looking at being there around noon (we'll see how that works out though lol)

Would like to check out those places with someone that knows this waves. Evenings would be best for me.

Wait til the spring, unless the river comes way up in the fall, right now most aren't worth the effort I think.
Maybe some locals could yay or nay that, but its my opinion

Dessert wave will be good once the water gets a touch lower - low enough to beach and walk up each lap rather than paddle back to shore.
