To celebrate all the slobs who are back at school (like my nephew Martin), Caitlin & I are going to go paddling on the Ottawa on Thursday. We may be meeting Fraser who is taking the outdoor course at Algonquin in Pembroke & will be taking some new students down the Ottawa in a 6 man raft. If any one is interested to come long let us know. Caitlin needs to be back in town for 6 pm so we will be having an early start, will post meeting times later on once we have confirmed with Fraser.

Would love to join you, but alas the back to school thing is hitting me this week too!
Maybe next week?

Would you guys be OK with a 11:30 or 12:00 start?

I think an 11:30 start would be OK, the main thing is to be off the river by 3:30 so that Caitlin can make it to town by 6 pm. The other alternative is for me & Caitlin to do an start at 10:30, hitch-hike or bum a ride for the shuttle & then wait for you at Horseshoe or the Lorne. I will talk to her later on this evening & firm up a time. The OWL report on the gauge was at 1 today.

Hi Richard,
It might be best if we give it a pass this time.
Have fun!
Adam
PS on the weekend the play spots were Corner Wave, Horse shoe, (a little bit) Baby Face, (a little bit) Push Button, and maybe Black's hole.

too bad you changed your mind as Caitlin said a late start will be OK.
