I have run the first one with Bastien and Jacques--and two guides. If I had to scout, I would have walked more than 50% of the rapids... Which numbered 35, if you only counted Class III and above. And that was only Section A! Section B has mostly Class V drops. As for the Taureau, well it's something else--compounded by its remoteness. Both rivers are less than 2 hr drive from Quebec City.
