Hi folks,
It's that time of the year. The Club will have it's Fall Party and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, November 2, 2013 starting at 6:00pm.
As usual, it will be a potluck dinner so bring your favourite(s) to show off and share with others. Plates and cutlery etc. will be provided.
Luc Lafreniere (our pool session guy and website wiz) has offered to host the party at his home, 82 Chesapeake Cres.
Google Maps http://goo.gl/dBu0gE GPS Co-ordinates: 45.268087,-75.778657
If you've got some videos you'd like to share, we'll have a laptop/tv combo set up to view them on.
Please bring your cheque book (cash works too) to renew your membership and reserve spaces for pool sessions.
Last but not least, we will be choosing a new executive so feel free to nominate likely deserving candidate/s.
See you there!

Just to warn allergic folks, I have a cat which will be locked up for the evening. So bring allergy meds if you're prone to symptoms.
And yes, I'm a cat person. Go figure.

Don't lock him up, we might need more food... LOL!

...I have a cat which will be locked up...
What did he do to merit this punishment? SPCA! SPCA!

OK, OK... I'll keep her UNlocked then. This way, if Jacques is hungry, he can go ahead and scoop her up (assuming he can find her).
But if someone declares they are allergic, I'll lock her up in the unfinished part of the basement.
Btw, her name is Ripley. Named after the Alien movies... NOT Ripley's believe it or not.

Hmmm... The Nostromo's can was named Jones... I suppose not appropriate for a female cat. Here's an interesting tidbit, from Wikipedia:
"During filming Sigourney Weaver discovered that she was allergic to the combination of cat hair and the glycerin placed on the actors' skin to make them appear sweaty."

Regret I can't Have-A-Party with you this Sat., I leave for 2 weeks in my Winnipeg office on Sunday 3rd NOV, always a last-minute cram of preparation. Will see you at some Pool Sessions to make my new Wave Sport Fuse 64 roll well with me.

Forgotten Items:
- Two Pyrex bowls with covers, two sizes
- One large glass bowl
- Club cutlery (I'll coordinate to keep all of that stuff together with plates and such)
- A giant purse... which turned out was Larizza's (sorry, not sure about the spelling :) ) and she eventually returned to claim
