The Britannia gauge took a sizable jump to 58.5 today, a ways from being epic Champlain but a start:
"58.5 - the eddy is in, but rope needed to reattain the top
58.7 - you can paddle up the eddy with effort
59.0 - the eddy is full with little effort needed to paddle up, the waves are steep and retentive"

Meanwhile the inputs from upstream are generally on the rise, and a reasonable amount of rain is forecast for the basin over the next couple of days. So it may be worth keeping an eye out for opportunities at the wall.
Sewer Wave is considered good between 58.4 - 58.7

Sewer Wave should be in!
Ottawa at beachburg is at 12

Sewer was green but surfable yesterday.
I think the high downstream level takes the foam off the top.
Desert wave was good also.
Champlain is an entirely green hump.
May be out there this evening. River is rising..
Go the endless summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
