Title: Billy Harris is back and available for padding clinics
Post by: Annie V. on June 06, 2014, 12:34:07 PM
Hi CdB members!

Billy Harris has decided that he is way happier paddling than doing whatever he was doing. So he his now available for paddling training either in group or for private sessions. He can be reached at 613-639-4804.

I personally like taking clinics with him.

Thanks for the heads up.

I don't know much about him. Is he recommended for play boating, creeking, C1, general technique?

He is actually a great athlete and a fantastic teacher in all if the above categories.

I've taken lessons from him as well as from others and in my opinion he is the best.

I took a short course on playboating a few years ago with him and he was indeed fantastic. So if somebody is interested, I would definitely recommend him.

Hi

Billy is a good instructor. I have taken a clinic with him and still have in my head "look upstream" when doing spins on the wave. As for C1, most paddlers see him in a kayak, but he trained with Paul Danks (a top C1er on the Canadian freestyle team).

It is most cost effective if you did a clinic with a few friends since you can learn by watching and listening to Billy commentating.
