Anyone interested in going to the gat fest?

If I can find some people to join me I will go.

Its aug 28-30.

So do I have to sign up before hand, or can I just show up and pay the fees.

You just missed the early registration that includes the meals. But you can register without meals for the weekend here: http://gatineau.org/en/registration or register on site. Sometimes there are meal tickets available on site, but not that many I believe.

Camping is included and on the festival site, where the shuttles are leaving from. It's in Maniwaki, there is a map in the brochure here:

They just extended the preregistration with meals. You have until August 25th to register and get the meals.

I don't think I will be able to go.

My car broke down on the way home from the gatineau last time and its been in the shop for 2 weeks. It sounds like I won't be able to get it back until sometime next week,

So I am without a car. I was hoping it would be done this week.

Looks like Hydro-Quebec had enough water stored in Lac Baskatong to provide a release this year; the level on the Bonnet Rouge gauge was 8 yesterday.

ill be out there with the old red canoe and probably parnhams fun strapped to the top or towed behind as backup
will transport lunches for rescues as always

its been a real non paddling season for me ... really looking forward to this
