I don't see why we wouldn't be... is there something I am missing?

I was under impression that it was CCkVM event and that at one point they extended invitation to CDB...which some of us accepted.

Everybody is invited. If you can bother with the French, we can assume that they mean Ontario as well by writing "toutes les régions du Québec":

"Le Jamboree de la rivière Rouge est un festival d'eau vive annuel qui accueille depuis 22 ans des pagayeurs de tous les calibres et de toutes les régions du Québec (...)"

I should be able to go, it's 7-9 July this year. Unless our Ottawa weekend is the same time...
