Title: Mississippi River conditions??
Post by: Francois Leclerc on May 03, 2018, 06:26:48 PM
I was thinking of bringing my son to do the Playfairville section of the Mississippi River this weekend. It would be his first ever spring run with a dry suit and everything. This section is fairly easy and not too long, perfect for his first time. I was wondering if any of you know what the water level situation is over there right now? Is it too high and flooded?...meaning no more rapids? I just don’t know where to get proper info?

Thanks for the help!

Have a look, links to the gauge too!

We will hopefully have a number of Venturer Scouts on the Clyde on Sunday.

The Clyde seems interesting. Never done it. I would shuttle it by bycicle.... is that possible?

Looks like a varied group will be putting on at about 10:30 on Sunday.
