Anyone paddling on Sat. Aug 8? I would love to connect with others paddling the Ottawa (Middle?) on Sat. morning but I'm up for anything... just want to be on the water. I'm driving from west of Ottawa so those rivers are more convenient but I'm open to anything else (e.g. Gatineau, Rouge).

While NOT Saturday morning, I plan to paddle with another on the Ottawa River middle channel, Thursday afternoon, Aug 6. If it works for you we could meet at the put-in about 14:30, and then run a shuttle. Please telephone me at 613 366-4359 if you wish to join. If you wish to join, I'd plan to telephone you as I leave Ottawa, giving you a 1 hour 45 minutes lead time.

Thoughts on a Pet town run? I'm a bit done with the middle this season until the level comes down.

Sounds like a plan. - Hwy 17 put-in or Railroad?

I've only put in at Railroad before. It would be fun to see the upper bit by the highway, but I'm happy to go with your preference.

With the level being lower lets go railroad at least for the first lap - You ok to shuttle together masked or we bringing bikes?
