I'm quite thinking of going, since I don't teach Fridays (yes, I have a class this Summer).
You guys are aware of this year's new situation with respect to put-in and take-out, I hope.
Take-out is same place and similar as before but more expensive perhaps (different fee scheme). There is very limited free parking on other side of bridge/river on the North side of HW 148. Do not park on the South side of HW 148, it's private. There is also $$ parking at Place Rouge. Beware that with the low level, every wannabe waterfall hucker might have decided to go too.
Put-in is free at Propulsion Rafting, they kindly offer free parking right there on their property, but please be nice and plan on buying beer/food from their bar at the end. You need to register yourself with them, and park exactly where they tell you to. It's a good way to meet other paddlers, since everybody puts-in there.
Esther no longer offer put-in (as of writing this) due to pandemic issues.
So barring unforeseen events, see you there!

Nice day on the river. the free Put-in at Propulsion Rafting is not anymore available.
I have being wash by the washing machine and loose my two Giant tiger shoes and Marc and Nathalie find it back for me. Good to have my shoes for the portage :) . We use the free take out propose by Christian and get out of the river before the rain.
See you all on the river Daniel

Indeed, we had a great time.
For 3/4 the trip, we had the river to ourselves! Just a few rafts to overtake at Elizabeth's drop--which all negociated perfectly! Slice'n'Dice was a bit hard, many small holes to avoid.
The seal launch at the end of the portage represents a good vertical drop, as water below is quite low. Everybody aced it! Nobody landed flat, all were proud.
Daniel went for a short walk along the river, with no shoes. He was reunited with them for the last 10 m of his walk, then with his boat...
