The club pays for a shuttle on Saturday morning if the shuttle is available (i.e. Isabelle told us that her truck was broke fuel pumps,,)

Gatineau River
Plenty of info describing the Gatineau can be found on the internet. A good place to begin is http://cdb-ottawa.com/rivers-rapides/ and clicking on the appropriate link. In a nutshell, the Gatineau is a long lake, broken up by Class III/IV rapids with sharp rocks along the shore, all in a very majestic setting. The river is not busy with other boat traffic. All rapids are signed with a portage sign and route. Big water fun or try the creek line river right at the Bec du Corbeau. Expect the river trip to last 3-4 hours so bring something to eat and drink.
Membership: The club is covering the shuttle and food so please consider becoming a member ($20)
There is a link on our web site to complete your signup: https://cdb-ottawa.com/membership-adhesion
We'll bring along some paper forms but it's easier to do it online...

Hi all.
Would love to go, but a bit in a bind. Since the booking window for Ontario Parks is 6 months, just remembered we had booked a weekend at Bonnechère... So if I paddle, that's because a good soul gave me a ride there! And back. Any day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday...),
As treasurer, if I am not able to participate, keep all receipts and I will reimburse. The president should still have a portion of the 300 $ in cash that was for last year!
Anyway, let me know if a ride can be arranged.

Just checking who will be bringing a BBQ tank:
I will bring a small one for my gas 2 burner stove to heat up pork plus other items.
We will need 2 more:
1 Med/Large for the Corn and 1 Med/Large for the BBQ
(I could fill my big tank and swap between corn and gas stove).

I will bring one tank

I will be there for the weekend, camping Fri and Sat.

going ...
clearing skies for Saturday evening to catch the Perseid meteor shower.
-
I just looked at the weather warnings and rain forecast, so I might shift to staying Sunday night instead of Friday.
Will make a final decision on Friday morning.

Have my car after all, will also decide on Friday or Saturday camping.

Trying to make it up on Saturday. -undecided whether to camp on Saturday night... Depends on the sky.

I will likely be there if the roads aren't washed out; I might even make it there on time.

Anybody going tonight?

Just talk with Isabelle . the gravel road is ok, the level still is 9 witch is perfect. She let us use her barbecue.
Will be a nice day on the river and be fun to see you all!
