Hey guys and gals,
Wondering what people are running this weekend? Steph and I are look to do a run of the Ottawa on Saturday (maybe the main channel finally with these water levels). Would anyone be interested?

If WT gets their act together, there might be a Canada Cup on Saturday at a feature yet to be determined by water level.

Either they have to open the dam to get 14 for mini bus... or close the dam to get least 2-3 for corner wave or RS horseshoe.
It is difficult to hold a freestyle competition at 5.25 .... when there is no feature for the competitors to show all their arial moves.
Sort of fun to watch at least for about 30 minutes then yawn
You gotta wonder how crazy it will be up there with the Guelph KC, and the Peterborough club showing up to do battle of how many beers can be drunk at River Run.

I too am planning to run the Ottawa on Saturday, Aug 30, but have volunteered to help out the Ottawa River Runners put on a beginner / kids trip. We plan to meet at the Lebreton Flats Pump House at 8:15 am and then leave 20 minutes later. If you'd like to share a shuttle, or join us, it is a possibility.

I would be up to go paddling tomorrow. I know some people are meeting at 9 at river run. Anyone up for carpooling?

I would like to go too. I will look for you on Bates Island at 7:30 A.M. and follow from there. If there is change of plans please someone give me a call at 613-791-7774.

I'd like to join in, if I can!
However, I'd prefer to carpool from Eagleson Park n Ride; Driving down to Bates and then back is no fun that early in the morning!
We can coordinate by cellphone;
- Anyone else for Eagleson?
- meet at River Run or the put-in?
- meet at Tim Hortons in Arnprior?
A combination of the above?

Ok I'll be at Champlain Bridge tomorrow at 7h30. I agree with you Loui, this is early!!!!!!!!
Jamie, you are more that welcome. I will not go the the park and ride since there anought people to carpool from Champlain which is better form me.
Hopefully, some people can meet at eagleson with you. Otherwise we definitly be at the RR takout for 9AM.
I don't have a cell phone, so I connot really be contacted tomorrow.

I will be at RR at 9:00AM tomorrow as well. I should have at least one other person with me. I will wait until 9:15ish and see who has made it out.
