Title: Rouge 7 sisters or Harrington Canyon Saturday August 19th

I will be returning from Montreal Saturday morning and was thinking of stopping and doing the Rouge on my way back.  If anybody else is interested we can plan to meet at the take out for 11:00

I think there is a big competition on the rouge this weekend, might be busy.

I would join, but I am gonna head up to the ottawa, and maybe buy a squirt boat :)

John,

Do you know the name of the competition? I want to check that it is this weekend. If that is the case I may pass also?

the race course is set up starting at #2 falls ... the race starts a 13:00hr and the participants would have to be in place by then..

I doubt the crowds would effect the paddle down to that section ... or the portage around that section since most of the spectators and river rescue personal would be closer to the rivers edge.

No ... booked to be somewhere else for the weekend ... enjoy watching the race.
