We haven't done this river yet
Current level is 11, which means there is water in the river.
Meet time: 11 am at Bonnet Rouge (takeout)
Not quite sure about a good car-pool meet place. Most other outdoor clubs meet at Tunneys Pasture.
I would assume there will be a meeting of the minds at the Thursday's evening pub nite ..

Hi Larry,
I'd love to join for this outing, including carpool. Not sure I can make it to Whispers on Thursday, but will try.
Cheers,
Stefan

What did you have in mind for carpooling? I usually put my Rockstar in my Rav4, with room for one more. I could put my rack on if we need to transport several kayaks. And where can we safely leave vehicles? Not familiar with Tunney's Pasture.

Stefan has been kind enough to offer me a ride which is very much appreciated.
-
So who's meeting at Tunney's Pasture?
-
Me ...
Tunney's Pasture is a government complex .. that shuts down for the weekend.
We are able to leave a car there since the parking lots are not monitored on the weekends and holidays
I have roof racks on my car.

Thanks to everyone there today, I enjoyed my first time on the Gatineau River.

Great day on the river. A total of nine of us were out.
Level was at 7' on the Bonnet Rouge gauge; superb surfing at the lunch spot (just ask Steve ...)
Bonnet Rouge rapid was not in at this level, several of us tried to get on the wave but it was surging too much and was not predictable.
A warm water and sunny day finished with dinner at Casse Croute JoJo in Gracefield.

Great day with friends.
I love the Gatineau River!
