I will be there Friday and paddling both days. I will be making a large batch of chili to share for Friday dinner. Drop by and have a bowl. Look for me at my tent trailer.

I should come up Friday too! --C.

Adam and I will be there as well, going there Friday afternoon. Should be fun! Level is apparently 12.5.

Yannick, will you be parking in the quite parking (straight in front of the entrance) or the noisy parking (right when entering the site)?

I'll be parked at front of the school as far away from the noise as I can get. Basically, in the backyards of the homes on Rue Ethier.

I have registered. Will come up Friday Afternoon. I have a new tent to try. Should I bring my Delphin too? Would eat the flat water like candy... Picture below isn't me but you get the idea.

The river is now at 14.5, good level for a sea kayak...
-
Anyone heading up for just the day on Saturday?
-
We'll be here Sunday still...

no sure if 16.5 is ok but its was high!!!! and so much fun :)

The higher, the better! Lucifer was impressive. The diagonal reactionary wave at the bottom was easily 1 m tall and whacked quite a few. Unfortunately nothing to surf at Draveurs. Some good carnage at High Tension: 1st 2/3 of the rapid was flatish, then... Many had trouble peeling out of the big river-right eddy between High Tension and The Wall, getting thrown back into the eddy: huge whirlpools on the eddy line. Transformer wave was surfable... in late August!!! Centre waves at The Wall were HUGE and glassy. All lines were the same, just some were bigger and harder, others, smaller in fact.
Altogether a great festival, too bad only 4 from the club participated.
