Title: CdB Palmer Rapid Weekend Clinics

Good day everyone:

Paddler Coop will be conducting a clinic for those who are interested on Sat 25 May for the CdB Palmer's Weekend.  The exact cost is still to be determined, but the club will pay 50% and the individual participants will pay the other half. The clinic(s) will be tailored around what the group wants on the day.


In order to schedule instructors we need an idea of the number of people interested in taking a clinic.  Can you let me know by Monday if you are interested in taking a clinic with Paddlers Coop?

Hi Adrian,
Sorry I'm replying at the last minute. is there a range of expected cost, some examples of topics, and how to pay? I'm probably in but would like to know more.

I should have provided more info in my first posting.  Paddler Coop rates are $160 for group and $225 for private lessons per paddler for the day.  As of now, you would be in a private lessons unless someone else signs up. 


I was at Palmer Fest this weekend and took a clinic.  The instructors go with what the group wants to focus on, despite so-so conditions for it we did a flat spin into.

If you can pay me cash, I'll settle up with the Coop and CdB.

Please let me know if you're in tonight and I'll confirm with the Coop.

Looking for clarification.
If there are two or more signed up the cost would be $160.
The club would pay $80 and the two who signed up would each pay $40.
Or if four signed up each would pay $20.

Paddler Coop rates are $160 per person for group lessons with a max of 5 people per group.  The rate doesn't decrease with more paddlers.  If your interested it's $80 per person with two or more.

I've told Paddler Coop that there will be two of you and asked for the details on where and when you meet up.  I'll forward the info to you when they get back to me.

You will need to be at Paddle Coop office (6535 Palmer Road, Palmer Rapids, ON) by 8:45 Saturday morning to register. The course day is approximately 9-4 with a 1 hour lunch break. You'll  need to bring all of your paddling gear.
