I am planning a trip on the Ottawa Middle Saturday. Meeting time is 11 AM at the putin. To respect social distancing rules, people are welcome to do a bike shuttle. Please reply here if you are interested or to sort out your car-pooling or shuttle needs.
Note: it is possible that River Run will be open so you might have to pay the takeout fee.

10:30 at River Run would be a good time to set up car shuttles.

You can always go for a swim when you get back to the take-out at the end of the day. And tomorrow shouldn't be too hot. :)

Well at least this is our plan, too. Not sure though if this means it will be safe since I'm notorious for not having a clue.

You need to be a the putin for 11. For shuttle, you can either drop a bike off at the takeout or try to find another person to shuttle with while respecting social distancing. I am doing a bike shuttle so I can't help you out. You can try messaging other paddlers to see if they are willing to forgo distancing and shuttle with you. I suggest you bring a mask if you are doing this.

Marc, if you want to shuttle, I'm happy to do so, otherwise I'll do a bike shuttle. Can't promise I'm negative since I'm working in healthcare. But so far no cases at our hospital. Up to you if you want to take the risk.

Thank you everyone for a terrific first day back. Next river, I'll be sure to get the coordinates for the takeout!
Thankfully getting back into a boat is just like riding a bike (and just as wet).
